Acrylic on illustration board,   1987

This was painted in an attempt to provide "Star Trek: The Next Generation" with a new ship design
with which the Enterprise was to rendezvous at the beginning of one of the show's first season episodes.
It was intended to be in the distant background as the Enterprise slowed to a stop near it.

Being motionless, it was rejected in favor of using an older miniature which was filmed,........motionless.



An exact 1/1400 scale model of this ship, as you see it here, will eventually
be released as one of my 'CONCEPT KIT' Models.
