Moving now to the vehicles, we see the WorkBee Bays above and my suggested new shuttles below.
| The various WorkBee 'tool' attachments are stored in the larger open bays (behind the two standing figures), port & starboard. Yes, for all you detail oriented people, those docking guide stripes are not perfectly aligned to point 15° aft, but this segment of the painting measures 3 1/4 inches across and I simply missed that detail too. Hopefully, upcoming designers will learn from my mistakes. |
| Notice, in this close
view, that I intended for the Bees to slide in & out of their
individual ports, mounted on small sleds. Once clear, the Bees
would
lift off and go to their next task. Upon return, the sled would
be
waiting to receive it's Bee and, having done that, would slide the Bee
back into it's sealed port. |
